Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information this site collects, why, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, get in touch and we’ll explain it in plain terms.
Information we collect
Contact form. If you use the form on our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, an optional subject line, and your message. We use this only to reply to you.
Spam prevention. When you submit the contact form, we briefly note the IP address the submission came from, purely to limit how many messages one visitor can send per minute. This isn’t stored anywhere beyond that check and isn’t linked to your message afterwards.
Hosting logs. Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) needed to serve pages securely. We don’t access these for tracking or profiling.
Affiliate link tracking. The affiliate provider that converts our booking links into tracked links may collect information under their own privacy policy — see our Cookie Policy for details.
How we use it
To reply to messages sent through the contact form, to prevent abuse of that form, and to track outbound bookings made through our affiliate links. We don’t sell personal information, run advertising trackers, or build profiles of visitors.
Who we share it with
Our email provider processes the content of contact-form messages solely to deliver them to our inbox.
Our affiliate tracking provider operates independently once you click through one of our booking links.
Our hosting provider processes standard technical logs to run this site, as any hosting provider does.
We don’t share your information with anyone else, and we never sell it.
How long we keep it
Contact-form messages aren’t stored in a database on this site at all — they go straight to an email inbox, kept under that inbox’s normal retention. The IP address noted for spam prevention is held in server memory for under a minute and is not written to disk or logged permanently.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Since the only information we hold is whatever you’ve sent us through the contact form, the simplest way to exercise any of these is to contact us directly and ask. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we’ve got something wrong.
Children
This site doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from children. The contact form is intended for adults planning a family trip; a child shouldn’t submit it without a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Checking back occasionally is the way to stay current — we don’t send notifications about policy changes, since we don’t hold contact details for site visitors generally.
