This site keeps its use of cookies and similar browser storage deliberately small. Here’s everything it stores and why.

Affiliate link tracking

This site earns a commission on some bookings made through its outbound links. To do that, we load two scripts that convert our booking and package links into tracked affiliate links, from Stay22 and Impact. Neither adds a widget, map or availability display to the page.

Both may set their own cookies, mainly so a booking you make after clicking through can be credited to this site. We don’t control what those cookies are or how long they last — see Stay22’s and Impact’s own privacy and cookie policies for specifics. You can block or clear third-party cookies in your browser settings; the links still work, we just aren’t credited.

Page-view statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people use. It doesn’t use cookies or store anything on your device, doesn’t follow you across other sites, and only gives us aggregated totals, not a record of any one person’s visit.

Saved resorts

When you save a resort with the heart button, the list is kept in your own browser’s local storage (under bedbreakdown:favourites) so it’s still there next time. It never leaves your device and we can’t see it. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

What we don’t use

No advertising trackers, no tracking pixels, and no analytics cookies. We don’t build a profile of your visit.
